Creating policy is always difficult. Why? It’s because there is one certainty: every solution to a problem creates its own set of problems. For that reason, policies must be carefully assessed prior to implementation. Choosing policy also means choosing the consequences of that policy.
Having been involved in policy development both at the board and executive level, Macek has the experience to help companies anticipate the consequences of policy change.
It’s impossible to create flawless policy, but it is possible to create policy that minimizes negative consequences. Every policy has a ripple effect that must be identified and planned for before the policy is implemented. Using an experienced third party to examine the implications of policy will better assure that the policy meets its intended purposes.
